Fans Can Win Great Prizes at Draft Day Party
Saturday’s event to feature “The 2009 Lions Draft Day Sweepstakes presented by the Metro Detroit Ford Dealers”

Metro Detroit Ford Dealers: Think Ford First

The Detroit Lions, with the support of the Metro Detroit Ford Dealers, are offering fans an excellent opportunity to win premium prizes as part of The 2009 Lions Draft Day Sweepstakes presented by the Metro Detroit Ford Dealers. Prizes will be announced during the Lions Draft Day Party at Ford Field Saturday, April 25 that begins at 3 p.m.

To enter, fans can visit any one of the Metro Detroit Ford Dealers through Friday, April 24 by 5 p.m. to pick up an entry form. Each dealership has a limited number, approximately 500, entry forms to distribute. There is no purchase necessary.

The entry form must be completed and brought to the Lions Draft Day Party at Ford Field on Saturday, April 25 and dropped off at a box located at the Guest Services desks near Gate A and Gate G for a chance to win one of 20 premium prizes.

There will be twenty (20) premium prizes given away to people who have registered to win. Those prizes include: 10 Detroit Lions laptop bags, five Detroit Lions glass decanter sets, five Detroit Lions golf merchandise packages.

Fan can also print off entry forms on Detroitlions.com and mail to 2009 Lions Draft Day Sweepstakes presented by the Metro Detroit Ford Dealers, Ford Field, 2000 Brush St., Suite 200, Detroit, MI 48226, but all forms must be received by Friday, April 24 at 5 p.m. Click here for more information!


Lions to Hold Draft Day Party at Ford Field!

The Detroit Lions will hold the team’s annual Draft Day Party at Ford Field Saturday, April 25 beginning at 3 p.m. and will end at approximately 8 p.m. Fans will have the opportunity to watch the draft, which begins at 4 p.m., on Ford Field’s large video boards and enjoy other great festivities scheduled for draft day. Admission to the Lions Draft Day Party is FREE to the public, and no ticket is required.

The Lions will kick off the 2009 NFL Draft with the first overall pick, and the Lions have the 20th overall pick in the first round. Teams pick in the first round at 10-minute intervals. Last year, the first round lasted three hours and 30 minutes under the new 10-minute format. The Lions also have the first pick of the second round (33rd overall).
