Dear Hypeplug,
In some parts of the Midwest, we celebrate spring’s glory on May Day (May 1)—a cheerful ode to friendship, warmer weather and blooming flowers. My family gets a boost from surprising the neighbors with iced lemon shortbread in handmade May Day baskets. Or celebrate the season’s best by inviting friends to a laid-back tea party or weekend brunch. (Check out our tips for setting a springy table.)

Best regards,
Greg
